Complaints Against Google

The Microsoft Corp. is prepared to make the battle against Google Inc. legal. They have filed a complaint related to the ongoing anti-competition investigation by the European Commission. The commission has been investigating Google’s control of the online search engine market.
Microsoft Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Brad Smith has confirmed that they will support the numerous companies fighting against the control of Google over the online search market.
The Google Inc. controls around 95% of online search market in Europe. In the United States of America, 25% of the online search market is controlled by the Microsoft Corp.
It is believed that Google blocks other online search website. Other companies feel that this is not a fair procedure to do business. They also block access to content from book publishers and restrict them from advertising and accessing the data uploaded on their servers.
Google has signed contracts due to which the European websites cannot distribute or utilize the rival search boxes.
The European antitrust regulators have assured that they will make sure that fair business policies are introduced. They are collecting the complaints against Google. Once the file is completed they will send it for verification. The required investigation will be done and Google will have to reply to the complaints against them.
